Eastman Institute for Oral Health Social Work staff (Lenora A. Colaruotolo, Kimberly Flint, & Elise Linke-Judge), Pediatric Dentistry resident (Dr. Brent Gill), and General Dentristry residents (Drs. Noura Fadel & Hengameh Abtahi) represented Eastman dental at an annual Safe Crib and Car Seat Project crib distribution on December 4, 2009.
Cribs and mattresses were distributed to pre-screened families through participating prenatal and parenting outreach programs. Pregnant women were given the opportunity to learn about child safety and health issues during the event, which featured a variety of exhibitors and donors.
